Hi Folks,

How are today? The roads are getting dryer and the scoots are getting some miles on them, Arty even seems to have all of his on the road at the same time!

Just a Quik update on progress since we last spoke really. All going well at Quik Towers, gigs are coming in and going down very well this month (and indeed this year). We had the pleasure of playing Mansfield Roadrunners Scooter Club charity bash a couple of weeks ago, really enjoyed it and went down a treat. The new PA has had a full testing and is crystal clear – just how we wanted it.

It was a long drive home in the snow that followed but a happy one and we helped make a good amount of money for charity too!

No peace for the Quiked we arrived in Solihull the following week and had a very enjoyable evening at the hands of the O’Neill’s pub chain and was again treated to a lovely reception. The set is getting stronger and slicker and its obviously being appreciated by the audience and the people that come to see us far more than can be just coincidence! (thanks folks!)

Busy rehearsing new songs, perfecting set staples and dusting off not-so-forgotten tunes in the interim, we find ourselves back at Katiefitzgerald’s in Stourbridge next Saturday night (30th March). This is a choice live venue that we enjoy playing, the staff are really nice, the PA is provided and there is always a good crowd of people who come to enjoy *free* live music in the downstairs bar most nights, but (we hope) especially on the 30th!

We had a good review in the local paper last week so we are hoping that all Mods in the area know who and where we are (if they don’t already) and this should make it a great gig for you all and for Trinna and Eddie and all at the venue.
